Avermasia

Rosé wine

This wine, obtained from 100% Barbera grapes, takes its name from the place of the agricultural land historically owned by Giacomo Boveri's maternal family.

Grape variety: Barbera 85% freesia 15%

Vineyard: Located in Costa Vescovato (AL), planted in 2003, 230 m above sea level, south-west exposure

Sixth plant: 0.83x2.50 - Guyot training

Soil: Clay

Yield per hectare: 80 quintals/ha.

Harvest: Mid-September manually in boxes

 

Vineyard processing: Fertilized with organic-based products, green manure in alternate rows with mechanical weeding.

Since 2019 the company has followed the "DTP Passione & Ragione - Sustainable Viticulture" protocol

 

Processing in the cellar: Soft pressing followed by clarification of the must and subsequent alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature (18° C). No maceration. After an initial racking, the wines remain on the noble lees for 5/6 months until bottling. Bottle refinement for at least 6 months before being put on the market.
